Headquartered in Port Perry, Ontario, Adamson Systems Engineering has built a reputation for designing the most physically rugged, high-output line arrays on the planet. Preferred by world-class rock acts, metal tours, and electronic festivals (EDC, Rock am Ring), Adamson cabinets deliver unmatched midrange punch and crystalline vocal presence.
1. Proprietary Acoustic Engineering Innovations
A. Patented Kevlar Transducers
While almost all loudspeaker manufacturers use paper pulp cones, Adamson pioneered precision-engineered Kevlar cone transducers. Kevlar provides immense stiffness-to-weight ratio and is completely immune to moisture, humidity, and heat breakdown on outdoor summer festival tours. It eliminates cone breakup distortion during high-SPL transients.
B. Co-Linear Drive Module
In Adamson's mid-range and high-frequency horns, the sound paths from the high and mid drivers exit through a single co-linear wave source. This creates a seamless transition without the phase notch artifacts common in traditional multi-way line array boxes.
